If you are unsure of your waste management utility, reference your latest garbage bill or contact your landlord. Ask which company picks up the garbage, recycling and yard waste, as they are often different companies.

If your waste management utility does not offer recycling capabilities for plastics and other items that can be disposed of responsibly, find out where your community’s closest recycling and composting stations are located.
